30 emotions. Pick the one that's actually true.

What's Atlas, actually?

Not a vibe. Not an aesthetic. A real space to be honest with yourself and the people who get it.

💭

Be honest about how you feel

No need to filter, perform, or pretend. Pick from 30 emotions (including the messy ones), add what's going on, and just... say it. Your check-in can stay private or go to friends. Your call, every time.

🫂

Anonymous support Circles

Public Circles like Anxiety, Identity, School Stress, and Family Stuff are communities of teens going through the same thing. You're shown by your first name to other teens. We match you only with peers from different metro areas, so the people in your circle are never your classmates or anyone you'd run into in real life.

🌙

Private journal that's actually private

Write what you can't say out loud. Photos, voice notes, 60-second videos. Only you ever see it. No screenshots warning your friends. No 'memories' surfacing it later. Your mind stays your mind.

🗺

See how your city feels

The Atlas map shows what people in your area are feeling right now: anonymous, aggregated, kind of beautiful. You're never alone in feeling whatever you're feeling.

🎵

The song that says it for you

Attach an Apple Music track to any check-in. See what other people are listening to when they feel the way you feel. Sometimes a song is the whole post.

📓

Look back. See patterns.

Your check-ins build a timeline of you over weeks and months. What weeks were rough? What activities lift your mood? Atlas+ unlocks the full picture so you can actually understand yourself.

Atlas isn't another social app

It's the opposite of one.

Most apps
  • 📈 Maximize your time. Algorithm-pulled.
  • 📸 Highlight reels. Curated personas.
  • 👀 Track everything you do, sell to advertisers.
  • 💔 Designed to make you feel like you're missing out.
  • 🤐 No anonymity. Everything tied to your name.
Atlas
  • 🌱 Built around how you actually feel.
  • 💭 Honest check-ins. No performance.
  • 🔒 No tracking. Zero data sold.
  • 🫶 Designed to make you feel less alone.
  • 🎭 Anonymous Circles. Your name stays yours.
🛡Built safe by design

How Atlas keeps ita real, safe space.

🔒

Adults and teens are separated

Public Circles and the public feed are split by age at the database level. If you're under 18, you only see content from other people under 18. Adults can't see your posts. You can't see theirs.

🤖

AI moderation on every post

Every text post, message, and image is checked by automated moderation before anyone else sees it. For teens, moderation is fail-closed: if something can't be checked, it doesn't post. Period.

🚩

Easy reporting, fast response

Long-press any post → Report. Tap any handle → Report this user. Tap Settings → Privacy & Safety → Report Inappropriate Content. We respond to reports within 24 hours.

🚫

Block who you want, when you want

Block any user from their profile or from a conversation. They can't see you, message you, or interact with anything you post. No notifications, no drama.

🗑

Delete is delete

Long-press your post → Delete. Gone. Server-side. Forever. Same with your account if you ever want to leave: full deletion, no soft retention.

No tracking, no data selling

Atlas does not sell your data. Doesn't share your check-ins with advertisers. Doesn't build a profile to manipulate you. You're a person here, not a product.

💛

If you need real help, right now.

Atlas is not a substitute for talking to a real person trained to help you. If you are in crisis or thinking about hurting yourself or someone else, please reach out:

  • 988Suicide and Crisis Lifeline. Call or text, 24/7
  • Text HOME to 741741Crisis Text Line
  • 911Emergency services

All free. All confidential. Atlas surfaces these resources automatically when crisis-related content is detected.

Real questions.

From teens, by teens, answered straight.

How does Atlas show me to other teens?

+

Your first name. That's it. No last name, no school, no city. And here's the part that matters most: we match you only with teens from different metro areas. So the people seeing your check-ins are never your classmates, your neighbors, or anyone you'd bump into at the mall. Adults are in completely separate circles you'll never see.

But what if my first name is unusual or my classmate is also named Maria?

+

We don't include anyone in your circle who's in the same metro area as you, so your classmates can't be there to begin with. If multiple Marias end up in the same circle (from different cities), the ones who joined later get their last initial added (like 'Maria K.' or 'Maria S.') to keep things straight.

What if someone says something gross or threatening?

+

Tap the post, hit Report, and it goes to our moderation team. We act on reports within 24 hours. For anything urgent or scary, you can also block the user immediately. They're gone from your view instantly. If it's a crisis (someone threatening themselves or others), Atlas surfaces 988 / Crisis Text Line resources automatically.

Can I just keep stuff to myself?

+

Yes. Every check-in has a visibility setting: private journal, friends only, or community. Default it however you want. Your journal is fully private. Nobody but you ever sees it.

Will my parents see what I post?

+

Only if you tell them. Atlas doesn't have a 'parent dashboard' that shows your activity. Your account is yours. (If you're under 17 on iOS Family Sharing, your parent had to approve the install, but that's just installing the app, not seeing what you do in it.)

Does Atlas cost money?

+

Atlas is free. There's an optional subscription called Atlas+ ($4.99/mo) that unlocks customization (accent colors, post fonts, chat backgrounds), full check-in history, emotion insights, and Private Circles for your friend group. Everything important works without it.

What if I'm in crisis and need real help right now?

+

988: call or text. Crisis Text Line: text HOME to 741741. Both are free, confidential, and available 24/7 in the US. Atlas is not a substitute for talking to a real person trained to help you. We surface these resources in-app whenever crisis-related language is detected, and we'll always do it gently.

Ready to be real?

Download Atlas, sign up in under a minute, and start checking in with how you actually feel.

Atlas welcomes anyone 13 and up. Depending on your iPhone's Family Sharing setup, your parent may need to approve the install.

👋For parents and guardians

Your kid wants to use Atlas. Here's what to know.

Atlas was built with teen safety as a structural concern, not an afterthought. We get that you want straight answers, not marketing. Here are some.

How is my teen's privacy protected in Public Circles?

+

Three layers. (1) Public Circles for teens display members by their first name, not their full identity. No last name, no school, no city. (2) We match teens only with peers who do NOT live in the same metro area, so classmates, neighbors, and local contacts can never be in the same circle. (3) Adult Public Circles are physically separate at the database level. Teens never see adult content and adults never see teen content.

How is my teen kept safe on Atlas?

+

Five layers: (1) Adults and teens are physically separated in Public Circles and the public feed at the database level. Adults can't see teen posts, teens can't see adult posts. (2) Every text and image is screened by AI moderation before publishing; for teens, moderation is fail-closed. (3) Cross-age direct messages are AI-moderated before delivery. (4) Reporting is one tap from any post or user, and we respond within 24 hours. (5) Crisis-related content automatically surfaces 988 / Crisis Text Line resources.

Can I see what my child posts?

+

Atlas does not include a parent monitoring dashboard. Your teen's account is theirs to manage. If you have concerns, the best path is open conversation. We've found that surveillance tools tend to push teens to other apps you don't know about, while trust and access keep the conversation going.

What about cyberbullying and predators?

+

Atlas is structurally designed to make these harder than on most platforms. Adults cannot interact with teens in Public Circles. Cross-age messages between teens and adults are AI-moderated. Anonymous handles in Circles mean teens can't be targeted at school by a known username. Reporting and blocking are immediate and easy. Repeat offenders are banned.

What information does Atlas collect about my teen?

+

First name and last name at signup (your teen chooses their display name from several options; last name and email are never shown to other users), email, date of birth, the content of their posts and messages, and approximate location (converted to a metro area on-device; exact location never leaves their phone). We do not sell data. We do not share with advertisers. We do not build profiles for manipulation. Full details in our Privacy Policy at oneatlas.app/privacy.

How do I report a concern or remove my teen's account?

+

Email support@oneatlas.app. We can deactivate an account on request from a verified parent or guardian.
