OneAtlas LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Atlas mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App.

1. Information We Collect

Information You Provide

• Account Information: First name, last name, email address (via Google or Apple Sign-In), date of birth, username, and avatar selection.
• Profile Information (optional): City, state, income bracket, education level, employment status, and relationship status.
• Check-In Data: Emotion, sub-emotion, intensity level, activity, and optional journal text.
• Posts and Comments: Text content, images, and reactions you create.
• Messages: Direct messages between friends (adults only). Messages auto-delete after 30 days.
• Parent/Guardian Email: For users under 18, we collect a parent or guardian's email address for consent verification.

Information Collected Automatically

• Location Data: GPS coordinates are converted to a metropolitan area name on your device. Your exact address is never transmitted to our servers.
• Weather Data: Current weather conditions at your approximate location.
• Device Information: Push notification tokens only. No device IDs or hardware identifiers.

Information We Do NOT Collect

• We do not access your contacts, photos (unless you explicitly attach one), camera, or microphone.
• We do not use advertising identifiers.
• We do not sell or share data with advertisers. Atlas has no ads.
• We do not perform behavioral profiling or algorithmic engagement optimization.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data to power check-ins, the emotional map (anonymized, aggregated), Circles, feed, notifications, and content moderation. See our full privacy policy in the app for complete details.

3. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

• Minimum age: 13 years old.
• Users 13-17 require parental consent.
• Adults and minors are in completely separate communities, enforced at the database level.
• No messaging for minors.
• Enhanced content filtering for minor users.
• Location sharing and emotion map contributions disabled by default for minors.

4. Data Export and Deletion

You can export all your data or permanently delete your account at any time from Settings > Export / Delete in the app.
